Relocating to Wisconsin?
Each year we welcome new students who have moved to Southeastern Wisconsin area with families who have relocated for personal and professional reasons. Prairie attracts families who are seeking a dynamic and engaged community where there children will be known and valued, supported and challenged.
Where do Prairie families live?
We realize many families are doing a housing search along with their school search. Prairie students live in 60 cities and towns across Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. Most Prairie families live in the Racine area and adjoining cities such as Oak Creek, Franklin, Wauwatosa, Kenosha, Pleasant Prairie, and even as far as Libertyville, but our private busing options make getting to and from campus possible from all over.
The Admissions Process for Relocating Families
While our admissions process includes many steps, we make appropriate adjustments for families who have tight schedules while visiting the area or cannot visit at all. We can accept substitute or locally-administered admissions testing, and we can schedule Zoom discussions and family meetings if you are unable to visit. In the end, we want to make the admissions process work for relocating families while making sure that Prairie is a good fit. We welcome a conversation with you about how best to help your child and family through the admissions process by contacting our Admission Team.
