The Hawks will compete for a trip to state as they travel to WIAA Sectionals at Albany High School’s Cross Country Course on Saturday, October 26th.

Girls' Swim

Competing in the “Spooky Sprints” at Milwaukee Riverside on Saturday, October 19th, PSC Aquatics brought home some hardware. Highlighting the day for the team, Riley Saenim ’26 earned a second-place medal with a personal best of 1:09.9 in the 100 Butterfly. Bringing home a third-place medal in the 100 Freestyle Relay was the team of Saenim, Sora Pearson ’26, Sophia Reeser, and Jizel Diaz ’27, with a time of 1:03.21. Great job, PSC!

In an October 22 Double Dual meet at Jefferson High School against Jefferson and Badger, PSC Aquatics had a great showing, including six personal best times! Saenim swam in the 200 IM with a new best time of 2:39.72, placing 2nd against Jefferson and 3rd against Badger. Pearson earned personal bests in the 50 free and 500 free while Diaz swam 200 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke for the first time.

Boys' Soccer

On Thursday, October 24th, Boys’ Soccer started the second phase of the season, settled into the game offensively with early chances, and put pressure on Living Word Lutheran. Brennen Luchun Ledvina ’26 opened the scoring on a pass from Roy Rivera ’26, and then the same duo scored again as Luchun Ledvina scored a great goal from the edge of the box for his second of the game. Rivera added two second-half goals, one from a well-executed cross from Victor Rossi ’28. Sonny Wilton ’25 added a 5th as he battled for a bouncing ball in the box. The Hawks came away with a 5-2 victory and will play for the regional final on Saturday, October 26th, at Brookfield Academy at 7PM.

Girls' Volleyball

Girls’ Volleyball fought hard in a rematch of a tough conference loss against St. Joe’s to open their postseason on Thursday, October 24th. The girls battled through 5 sets to come away with a 3-2 victory (15-25, 27-25, 15-25, 25-23, 15-7). Libby Batten ’25 says, “We went in thinking it might be our last game, which made us really bring it. We controlled what we could control and didn’t give St. Joe’s many errors to get free points, and we didn’t dwell on our mistakes.” Echoing that sentiment was fellow senior Lauren White who said “The team was very energized in those last two sets, and we knew we were capable of winning. We were feeding off each other and pushed each other to succeed. The realization that we could win was a game changer.” The girls gave a lot of credit to the fans who traveled to cheer on the Hawks and made them feel like they could push through to win, and they hope to see many of them at their regional final game on Saturday, October 26th at 7PM. They will be on the road at Heritage Christian.
