Boys' Soccer

Playing under the lights on Saturday, October 26th, in a Regional Final against Brookfield Academy, the Hawks came away with a 4-2 win. With excellent team energy to start the game, Roy Rivera ’26 struck early to give the Hawks the lead in the 7th minute. The boys went into halftime with the lead with strong defensive play, particularly from Jon Orth ’25. Sonny Wilton ’25 started the second half with a spark, scoring an early goal before Brookfield Academy battled back and eventually tied the game at two. Knowing the Hawks needed a boost, Rivera added another goal to take the lead. On a penalty kick at the end of the game, Gabi Kuvshinikov ’25 put it away for the Hawks’ fourth goal. Coach Joe Manley praised the work of Kuvshinikov in handling the Knights’ most dangerous attacker and moving into different positions throughout the game to help bring it home.

On a gusty Halloween night, the Hawks saw their season end against conference foe Shoreland Lutheran in a WIAA Sectional Semi-Final matchup. The boys played a challenging game against the No. 1 ranked team in Division 4, but a goal off a corner kick in the 14th minute proved all the Pacers needed to advance. The team did a great job of keeping a strong Shoreland squad at bay for the remainder of the game and nearly tied the game in the 72nd minute, but the goal was disallowed. The Pacers advanced to the next round with a 1-0 victory against our Hawks. Thank you for a great season, boys!

Girls' Volleyball

Girls’ Volleyball traveled to Heritage Christian on Saturday, October 26th, and lost 3-0 to the No. 1 seeded Patriots. Despite starting the game with four straight points and a 10-6 lead in the first set, the Hawks couldn’t muster any set victories. The Hawks lost 18-25, 18-25, and 17-25 in the Regional Final to end their season. Thanks for a great season, girls!
