What Being a Hawk Means to Porter:

I am so happy to be at TPS and am honored to be a Hawk! I love my teachers and have made many new friends this year in Middle School,” shared Porter while reflecting on his time at Prairie.

Porter joined The Prairie School as a 4th grade student and is now a standout member of the Middle School community. As a 6th grader, Porter has already made a significant impact this year.

“From the first day of Middle School, including the overnight trip to Camp Timber-lee, Porter consistently comes to school with great enthusiasm, thoughtfulness for others, and focus on academics,” said Kathy Boero, Head of Middle School. “He participates with high interest, curiosity, and always looks for opportunities to go above and beyond what is asked of him. Porter is a Middle School leader!”

Whether he’s contributing creative ideas to the Yearbook Club, solving challenging problems with Math Counts!, or playing soccer or basketball with his friends, he puts 100% effort into everything he does. We look forward to seeing all that he’ll accomplish in the future!
