What Being a Hawk Means to Norah:
“To me, being a Prairie Hawk means striving to better myself every day – academically, athletically, musically, and beyond. It’s an honor to be part of a community with supportive faculty who encourage me to grow, both in my studies and in how I carry myself and respect others. Embracing this identity means seizing the opportunity I’ve been given, putting in the work, and showing up as the best version of myself to make the most of this incredible education.”
Norah’s passion for growth extends to every area of her life. “Norah lives an enthusiastic growth mindset,” says Pat Badger, who nominated her for ‘Hawk You Should Know.’ “Playing violin since first grade, she has grown musically to perform with the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Senior Symphony and the Wisconsin School Music Association’s State Honors Orchestra for the past three years. But music isn’t her only passion – she also excels on the soccer field as a team captain and a standout player.”
Beyond music and sports, Norah is a dedicated scholar, currently taking four AP courses and a Malone course in genetics. Her drive for excellence extends to every field she touches.
“Whether on the pitch, the stage, or in the classroom, Norah collaborates with spirit and dedication, always striving to grow,” adds Pat Badger.
