What Being a Hawk Means to Emersyn:

“Being a Prairie Hawk means being a kind person who loves everyone for who they are. I appreciate what an amazing school I get to go to, with the best friends and such caring teachers,” shares Emersyn.

Emersyn’s efforts have touched many in her community. Lisa Yunker from the Primary School Office shared, “The past two years that I have worked in the PS Office, we have received calls and thank-you letters for Emmy because of the uplifting effect she left on the veterans she came in contact with. She has a very positive, can-do attitude, and whenever she is asked to help somebody, she does it with a smile on her face.”

In addition to her kindness, Emersyn has an incredible knack for solving problems and lending a hand. “Emmie often stops by the PS Office with little trinkets or articles of clothing for Lost and Found, which helps me organize and figure out if something belongs to someone,” Lisa added. “She is also frequently asked by teachers to help classmates get to one place or another because of her willingness to help and her confidence in knowing her way around.”

Emersyn truly embodies what it means to be a Prairie Hawk!
