A well-deserved haul for this fantastic cast and crew.

Truth be told, it was not a terribly tough prediction to make.

As soon as the curtain went up – and the blue, underwater-resembling shadows started reflecting and rippling across the walls of the John Mitchell Theatre – it was apparent this year’s production of The Little Mermaid was going to be something special. Or to put in theatrical terms, this gifted group of actors was going to figuratively break one leg after another.

The folks at the Jerry Awards agreed.

Wisconsin’s preeminent High School Musical Awards Program recognized the US Players with 14 nominations. What’s more, Prairie won a school record four awards.

Congratulations to Dena Roncone, Theatre Director, and the entire cast and crew on what was one of the more spellbinding productions in recent school history.

We can’t wait for next year!
