New-to-Prairie Middle School Families: Review Performing Arts Course Offerings

All new-to-Prairie MS parents and students should review the 2022-23 Performing Arts Course Descriptions with their child as soon as possible. Kim Forsman, Middle School Administrative Assistant, will be contacting you regarding your child’s course preferences.

Step 1: General All-School Information

The following details apply to all students, ES through Grade 12. Click each link to access documents.

The linear calendar is a rundown of key dates for the 2022-23 school year. A more detailed calendar will be made available later in the summer — and we’ll notify you when it is ready!

PowerSchool is the online system Prairie uses to track family contact information, student health records, and academic history.

Please click the adjacent button to login. Review and update the data in each section listed — first and foremost, “Student/Parent Information” and “Health/Medical Information” — for each child. Don’t forget to change the date and click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of each page, even if your data remains unchanged! If you have multiple children, you will need to complete this process for each child.

In mid-July, all new families will receive PowerSchool instructions and login information directly from the Admission Office. Please have your PowerSchool information updated by August 1st.

Don’t remember your login information? Contact our Registrar Kim Forsman at (262) 752-2551.

FACTS is the system that all Prairie families use to pay tuition, fees, and incidental expenses like hot lunch. Current families will already have a FACTS account established. If you have moved or have a new phone number or contact email, please take a moment and update those details in FACTS as well as in PowerSchool.

New-to-Prairie families should have received information from the Business Office on setting up a FACTS account. If you have any questions about FACTS or tuition/fee payment, please contact Tara Nelson in the Business Office.
