A Great Gift – Giving Garden Cook Book

WOULDN’T THIS MAKE A GREAT HOLIDAY GIFT IDEA?

There are still plenty of Giving Garden Cookbooks available–and they’re small enough to make a great stocking stuffer or just a nice gift for a friend, family member, co-worker, boss, or even your postal carrier!

We have already raised enough to pay for the printing of the books, which means that the $1,650 over and above that cost is already slated to go directly to the Racine County Food Bank (RCFB). And that means that every cookbook purchase will also go directly to the RCFB. As the temperatures drop and the holidays approach, the RCFB still needs our help providing much needed sustenance as well as a little holiday cheer.

Cookbooks can be purchased in the Upper School office for $20, cash or check (made payable to The Prairie School). Let’s keep Mrs. Barth busy with new orders!

This message is brought to you by C.L.A.S.S., which brings together students of all ages each year to recognize an injustice in their world, learn about affected communities, create relationships with them, and serve them with action and awareness-building. Not only does C.L.A.S.S. provide leadership for others, but it also promotes personal growth in its members and sustains its work by teaching others how to lead themselves. Over the last few years, our service and leadership has been focused on taking action against hunger in our community. This cookbook is our efforts to bring together the community to fight against hunger in Racine.

Thank you in advance for your kindness.
